Nigerians react to Donald Trump winning the US elections

Republican candidate Donald Trump has been elected as the 45th president of the United States.

The 70-year-old, won by over 57 million votes to his name, as against Hillary Clinton’s 56 million votes.

Trump in his victory speech said he was “reaching out” to those who did not support him and that “it is time for us to come together as one united people”.

“The forgotten men and women of our country will be forgotten no longer,” he added.
