In some of the devices as much as 80 per cent of the files were x-rated images and films, Lt Gen Michael Flynn said in his new book.
‘We looked a ruthless enemy in the eye – women and children, girls and boys, raped and exploited, the beheadings stored on a laptop next to pornography,’ the ex-Defence Intelligence Agency chief wrote in ‘The Field of Fight: How We Can Win the Global War Against Radical Islam and Its Allies’.
The book was serialised in the Bild newspaper from Germany.
He added: ‘At one point we actually had determined that the material on the laptops was up to 80 per cent pornography.’

But that didn’t seem to stop many of its fighters.
Lt Gen Flynn said: ‘These sick, psychopathic enemies were not only unimaginably hideous, but also treacherous and torn.’
