The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) says it has arrested 11 persons in connection with illegal dealing in petroleum product in Ondo State.
The NSCDC Ondo State commandant Mr Adeyinka, said yesterday in Akure that it has recovered five trucks containing 153,000 litres of petrol. Adeyinka said the suspects were arrested at various locations in the state between June 22nd and July 14th. He said the driver and his assistant in the truck loaded with 40,000 litres of petrol were intersepted on Lagos-Benin Expressway. The NSCDC commandant said some of the suspects had already been charged to court while others are still under investigation and will soon be charged to court
